Chloe. I am a prime example of why pet owners need to administer heart worm prevention every month! I was bitten by an infected Mosquito and heart worms started destroying my heart. Heart worm can only be detected by a simple inexpensive blood test. I have received all my heartworm treatment, been spayed, and would like to be the only dog in your household. I have been at the shelter way too long. I like to go for walks, and play with soft toys. Can you take me home? My adoption fee is $100.00

The SPCA will be holding a bowl-a-thon on August 17, 2008 to benefit the homeless pets, Visit our website www.spcahernando.org for more details. We will have a "bowling" good time!

Our adoption fee's are as follows:
Puppies: $125.00 includes up-to-date shots, vet checks,a bag of puppy food, training tape and an i.d. tag. If the pets are not old enough, to be spayed or neutered an addtional cost of $100.00 is added on to the adoption, but then refunded to you, after the spay/neutered is completed.
Designer dogs starting at $150.00 + (ex. poodle)
Dogs over 1yr. are $100.00
Cats over 1 yr to 3yrs. is $40.00
Kittens 3 month to 1 yr. are $65.00 plus $100.00 refundable spay/neuter deposit.
Designer Kittens are $100.00 (ex.siamese,high demand kittens)
